Surrounded by global economic and geopolitical uncertainties, many High Net-Worth investors are looking for new ways to preserve their family’s wealth. TIMC's holistic approach will help you achieve your goals by strategically diversifying your assets and citizenships simultaneously across the globe.

Every year, thousands of families choose Canada to settle, study and secure their future. We are proud to present our exclusive interview with our privileged partner for the Immigrant Investor Program of Quebec in Canada, Richardson GMP, the largest independent wealth management company in Canada.

Ms. Monique Copti, Copywriter at TIMC:

Mr. Boulianne, thank you for this special interview.

With Canadian roots dating back to 1857, Richardson has evolved rapidly from a family-owned grain trading company to an international group of multi-faceted companies specializing in different fields.

Could you tell us more about Richardson and the company’s strength?

Mr. Martin Boulianne, Branch Manager at Richardson GMP:

As a pioneer in various sectors in Canada, the Richardson Group has played a very important role in the country's economic growth. From coast to coast, Richardson GMP is Canada's largest independent wealth management firm, with more than $ 28 billion in assets under management.

Its strength lies in the constant listening to its clients’ needs, offering successful families and investors innovative solutions.

Ms. Copti:
How could our international clientele for the Immigrant Investor Program in Quebec, Canada, benefit from our long-lasting partnership with you?

Mr. Boulianne:
The advantage of our long business relationship is my participation in TIMC’s private meetings with their distinguished clients in their home country, more specifically at their personal residence or at their working place.

This allows me to better know TIMC’s clients who are candidates in the Canadian Program, and to better understand their needs and aspirations. I establish a strong relationship of trust with them from the beginning of the process.

Ms. Copti:
Based on your more than 10 years of experience with the Program, what do you think attracts the most successful investors and their families to apply in Canada?

Mr. Boulianne:
The quality of life offered by Quebec and therefore Canada is incomparable! The feeling of freedom is great and the opportunities too.

For families, Montreal is a top university city, as are other cities closer to home such as Boston, and the quality of our universities is world renowned. It’s also important to know that Montreal is a very safe city for families.

Ms. Copti:
The new financial requirements of the Program are now higher, and it remains open for submissions of applications for a limited time only.

What impact will this have on the Program's popularity and what do you recommend to our interested clients?

Mr. Boulianne:
Canada remains a popular and enviable destination in the world. The new financial requirements for the Program confirm and reflect the inestimable value of this country.

In fact, the demand is still very strong, so I think that the candidates must make their decision to start the process in a timely manner, because of the limited time to prepare and submit their file to the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la diversité et de l'inclusion (MIDI).

Ms. Copti:
Could you share a great story of a successful family that has been able to preserve its future through the Program?

Mr. Boulianne:
I recently met a client with his son from Algeria at my Montreal office. He offered me gifts and expressed his gratitude and pride that his son graduated from a Canadian university in Montreal.

Another candidate in the Program is still in business with me after being accepted, and I even had the privilege of signing her passport application and that of her son.

Ms. Copti:
Thank you, Mr. Boulianne, for the information provided on the highly reputable Canadian firm Richardson GMP, and our privileged partnership to help our clients and their families access Canada.
