Last week, we travelled to Portugal with some of our clients, to help them discover this beautiful European country and tour some of Investaureum real estate projects for the Portugal Golden Visa Program.

During this trip, we also accompanied our clients to meet different professionals, as a part of the necessary steps for their successful journey towards the Golden Visa.

In this newsletter, we would like to share with you some pictures and highlights from what could be your typical visit of Investaureum real estate projects in Portugal when you start your journey to obtain the Golden Visa:

DAY 1 - PORTO

Porto

- Landing in Porto for our first day, your Advisor will be staying in the same hotel as you, located just a few minutes away from our partner's office.

- As most flights arrive in Porto around mid-day or afternoon, it's wise to first get some rest and later enjoy a traditional dinner together.

DAY 2 - PORTO & CANAVEZES

Canavezes Project

- We will join at Investaureum offices where you will have the chance to meet with some of our partner's team and professionals, before heading (about 1 hour drive) to the Canavezes Palace Hotel & Thermal Clinic. You will discover how our partner is resurrecting this magnificent patrimonial building.

  2020 Canavezes

Closed in the 80’s during the Portugal economic downturn, the famous Canavezes Thermal Clinic will reopen in fall 2020 as a beautiful 5-stars hotel-boutique & spa, thanks to Investaureum’s vision to revive abandoned historical properties in Portugal.

- Driving or flying to Lisbon for the second part of your Portuguese exploratory trip.

DAY 3 - LISBON REGION

Royal S Paulo Hotel Resort

- We will meet at the bank to open a bank account before heading (about 1.5 hour drive) on a field visit to Investaureum most recent development project, the Royal S Paulo Hotel Resort, in the municipality of Vila Viçosa.

Rich in cultural and historical diversity, Vila Viçosa is now being considered a World Heritage Site of UNESCO.

Built in 1590, the iconic building had several lives, being once a Monastery to becoming the most well-known olive oil factory in the area and finally being an electricity company.

Before and After Work

With Investaureaum, the property will be transformed into a luxury resort and spa, blending the aesthetics of the classic Antiquity period and iconic Renaissance influence, with a touch of contemporary sophistication.

Concept Design

The Resort will be comprised of 70 suites, an outdoor and an indoor pool, two stylish restaurants, gardens and villas.

The Royal S. Paulo Resort, Villas and Spa will be managed by an international hospitality brand that will embody the true essence and exclusivity of the Golden Visa Program.

- After that tour in Vila Viçosa, we will be driving to R Convento Das Servas in Borba (a short 10-minute drive). This 3rd Investaureum revival project is still in conception planning.

DAY 4 (OPTIONAL) - CASCAIS & SINTRA

- If you have the time to stay longer, we recommend that you visit the Cascais 1899 Boutique Hotel in Cascais, a coastal resort town West of Lisbon.

- It is also your chance to tour the magnificent 19th-century Pena National Palace in Sintra, one of the finest tourist attractions in Portugal.

During our recent trip to Portugal, our distinguished clients also explored the rich culture of the country and the warmth of its people, enjoying excellent and refined Portuguese cuisine, as well as appreciating the architecture and some of the main attractions of Porto and Lisbon.
