Major changes coming to the Antigua Citizenship by Investment Program
View from Shirley Heights, ANTIGUA
With the upcoming implementation of new regulations for the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program, TIMC conducted an urgent due diligence trip to Antigua.
Due Diligence Trip
An important part of this trip was to meet with Ms. Sherelyn Hughes-Thomas, Deputy CEO of the Citizenship by Investment Unit, to discuss and understand the upcoming changes to the Program, including the new requirements expected by the end of the year.

During this trip, we also met with Mr. Jeff Hadeed, Chairman of the Board at the CIU, and discussed the future of the general direction of the Program.

We then toured Nonsuch Bay Resort accompanied by our real estate partner Mr. Cameron Fraser.
We also visited a new high-end real estate project approved for the CIP Program. With Mr. Fraser, Developer and Director of Moon Gate Resort, we took a close look at the work in progress and the high quality of construction.

Another property we visited was the South Point Antigua, a designer boutique hotel located in English Harbour, where mega-yachts come to spend the winter.

Customer Inspection Trip
Our stay in Antigua continued with an Inspection Trip with some of our customers, eager to make an informed decision on the Program before the changes are enforced.
This trip enabled them to meet our various partners and government representatives, to assess the quality of the Program and to make their real estate investment choices on site.
Both our due diligence trip and Inspection Trip were a success!
We were very happy to meet the needs of our clients who joined us and made a positive informed decision to go along with the Antigua Program on time, avoiding the upcoming requirements to the Program.
Due to this great success and a growing demand, TIMC has planned a second Inspection Trip to Antigua from December 14 to 16, and that trip is already almost filled up!
