It's with a great pleasure that I would like to share with you some information and pictures of my due diligence trip to Antigua this week.

| View in browser   Due Diligence Trip to Antigua January 2022 As you may know, the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program has been attracting many high net-worth families who are looking for a second citizenship and a strong passport, especially since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020.   Last week, TIMC travelled to Antigua for a due diligence trip, to verify how the country, our partners, and the Citizenship by Investment Unit are managing the situation during the pandemic.   Travelling to Antigua   The country has put in place different measures to ensure the continued safety of travelers and residents during Covid-19, from travel protocols to Certified Accommodations for tourists. Following the entry requirements, we had a smooth travel experience flying from Montreal to Antigua. We discussed about how little the pandemic impacted the resort's operations. Indeed, Nonsuch Bay was one of the very few resorts able to control the situation, keeping its vacancy rate very low.   We also had the pleasure to visit the development site of the future resort. With the construction already started, the project seems promising considering the choice of the gorgeous region of Half Moon Bay and the design planning!  CEO of the Citizenship by Investment Unit During different meetings, we had the honor to meet with Ms. Charmaine Donovan, CEO of the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) in Antigua & Barbuda. The CIU has quickly adapted to the pandemic situation since the beginning, bringing more flexibility to the Program's requirements and accelerating the files' processing time. Local Agent A visit to our Local Agent was also planned, where we discussed about our great cooperation towards our clients' successful files' application.   TIMC's due diligence trip last week in Antigua, meeting with our different partners and the country's officials, have reinforced our choice to offer a high quality and professional Program, as well as high-end resort properties with a successful real estate partner such as Nonsuch Bay. The country is managing the pandemic very well which benefits both our clients and our real estate partner.   If you would like to learn more about the Program, Nonsuch Bay, or the new real estate project, please contact us.
